3D Field of Flowers Bundle (RETIRED)
When I started using this Stampin’ Up! new Field of Flowers Bundle, I wanted to see what I could do with these sweet little Confetti Flower Boarder punch! The idea came to me that I could emboss them with the Take A Pick embossing tool to get the petals to fold up for a 3D effect. The results were so fun! Check out this video to see how it was done!

This sweet little card got “punched” up (pun intended) to the next level by making those little petals 3D using the Take Your Pick dry embossing tool! Watch the video to get the how-to! I used a couple of the new 2020-22 In-Colors, Magenta Madness and Bumble Bee, along with Pear Pizzazz! The Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon is adorable!
I stamped the larger flower on the Whisper White cardstock background, and then stamped the grass on a 2”x4.5” piece of white, then cut it into 3 equal pieces of 1.5”. I then layered with small pieces of the Magenta Madness DSP (Designer Series Paper), and then a 2-1/4”x5” piece of Pear Pizzazz, placing them all the on white background piece. I tied the ribbon over the whole thing. The flowers can be time consuming, but considering the outcome, I thought it was worth it! Materials in the links below.
The above card was made with the same fun effects with the Field of Flowers Bundle, but is a little easier to do for less time (watch the video above for how I got the petals to pop up with the Take Your Pick dry embossing end). I used a fun fold of taking an 4-1/4” x 11” piece of Pool Party cardstock and scored it at 5-1/2” and at 2-1/2”. I layered the Whisper White cardstock on the inside with the greetings done in Pool Party ink, and a 2-3/4”x5-3/8” piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock on top, stamped in Soft Sea Foam ink for the grass, and Petal Pink ink for the flowers. It is hard to see, but I used the Subtle 3D embossing folder for the front side of the Pool Party, and overlapped the Greenery embossing folder on the Soft Sea Foam piece. I used Petal Pink cardstock for the 3D flowers. The whole thing came together in minutes and I can’t wait to send it to my friend!
