It’s Your Day To Shine

I just love scrapbooking and it brings so much joy to my heart! The "Your Day To Shine" Kit makes fabulous cards and also makes amazing scrapbook layouts as well!

I used the “Your Day To Shine” for my last week Fri-Yay Kit-Together Facebook Live. The pretty summer flowers just fill the page and brings a cheerful vibe to any card or scrapbook page!

Happy Day

I am so thrilled I was able to capture the fun of hanging out with my friends to craft (we were making card kits) and playing by the pool!

I used a 12”x12” piece of Basic White CS for the layout base. I then used a 7”x9” piece of Fresh Freesia CS at the top left. I used a 4-1/4”x11” piece of Misty Moonlight CS on the left side. I also used Daffodil Delight to frame the photos, as they make the flower centers pop. On the right, I used the Mossy Meadow card from the kit cards and placed it upside down so the photo is on the back of the card.

For the left photo, I cut the Fresh Freesia card in 1/2 and then trimmed the backside to fit behind my photo and adhered it to my Misty Moonlight layer, then added the pot and flowers from the kit. The other side of the card is in the bottom right corner and gives me lots of room to journal. I used the sentiments from the kit and cut them to fit what I wanted it to say.

I just used the kit elements like the velum, flowers, butterfly and embellishments. I also used the envelope flap to punch out tabs, using the Keeping Tabs punch and added them in 3 places of the page. Such a fun filled scrapbook layout!
