Hand-Penned Suite

For June’s Stamp Camps, we used the sweet Hand-Penned Suite. We had so much fun utilizing the suite items; Hand-Penned Petals Bundle (Hand-Penned Petals Stamp Set and Penned Flowers Dies), the Hand-Penned DSP, and the Genial Gems to make cards and a gift box with the Love You Always Treat Boxes before they retire on June 30, 2021. The colors and watercolored images for the Hand Penned 12”x12” DSP is so wonderful, you will want more as you find yourself quickly using it up!! Not part of the suite, but coordinating is also the Hand-Penned Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, and the Hand-Penned Memories and More Memory Card Pack.

Feel Better Friend card

This beautiful card was CASE’d from another demonstrator using bleach on the Soft Succulent CS. It is amazing how this gorgeous cardstock turns to So Saffron color when bleached. I used Stazon Black Ink( it works best when bleached) with both blossoms first. Then used my empty Water Painters to apply full strength bleach to the petals. I then used the So Saffron Blends for the flower centers and Soft Succulent Blends on the leaves. The verse was put on So Saffron CS layered on Basic Black CS, punched out with the Double Oval Punch. I added a little 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon in Soft Succulent, and used Matte Black Dots for a final touch.

Congratulations card

Can you tell that I just love layers? This sweet card was made with the lovely Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. While the beautiful cards do not need much, I layered it with a small 1” strip of matching DSP, Basic White CS, and Pool Party CS embossed with one of the Meadow Moments EF and the scallop die from the Penned Flower Dies. We stamped one of the flowers using the two-stepped stamping with Pale Papaya Ink, and Cinnamon Cider Ink daubed on with the Sponge Daubers, with Pool Party ink for the leaves. We used two of the flowers die cut on Basic White CS under the inked flower. The verse was inked with Cinnamon Cider Ink on Basic White CS,

layered on Cinnamon Cider CS cut with the smallest of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and a layer of Pale Papaya CS. Though the ribbon is retired, it matched so sweetly with the card’s polka dots. The Genial Gems was the final touch. more pics below
