Beauty Of The Earth Suite
For my May 2021 Stamp Camps, we used The Beauty Of The Earth Suite. It is a gorgeous new set from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog! This suite is comprised of the Beauty of Friendship Bundle (Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set and Beautiful Trees Dies), stunning Beauty of The Earth DSP, and the Bark 3D Embossing Folder. I cannot wait for fall, as this suite will be gorgeous with all the rich fall colors!!
Thinking of You Card
As you can see from the righ, I got busy using the Vellum CS, Stampin’ Blends and 91% alcohol technique to show how beautiful this set is for spring as well! The background Vellum, I used the new 2021-23 In Color Soft Succulent Blend (dark), and for the foliage, I used the new Polished Pink Blend (dark). The layered CS on Basic White Thick CS is the Soft Succulent cut to 4-1/8”x5-3/8”. The inked Vellum is placed ink face down using the Adhesive Sheets on Basic White CS cut to 4”x5-1/4”. I used two colors for the tree trunk layer of Soft Succulent (& Evening Evergreen for the
shadow). The pink foliage was adhered using the Adhesive Sheets as well, but you can dab on the Glue with a sponge as well, but it gets hard with the little bits I put down to look like fallen petals. The embellishments are the Loose Flower Flourishes and the 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon in Polished Pink. more pics below…
You Truly Inspire Me card
I was really inspired by my garden this spring, and of course had to add the spring blossom look when I created this card for a Leadership card swap. The colors were Soft Succulent and Polished Pink again, but I used the stamp set Beauty of friendship. The background DSP is from the Hand-Penned DSP, as they looked like sweet little cherry blossoms. When I am inking the trunk using the Soft Succulent ink pad, I stamp once in the center, then once more to the left and again to the right to make it look like a foggy day as things drift off into the distance.
