Splendid Day Stationary Set

One of my favorite gifts are stationary sets or card gift boxes.

This beautiful box will be a fun one to gift at Christmas and I enjoyed using the Splendid Day DSP and the Splendid Thoughts Bundle. This gorgeous paper will only be available until the end of December 2022, and I love using up what I have left from my scrapbook project and classes.

Since there is nothing new under the sun… I CASE to my heart’s content. Why re-work the wheel? So, I used the stationary box gift set tutorial from the Maymay Made It page. I changed a few things (like a 1/8” space around the box layer) and a different note pad. I included 6 each of 4-1/4”x5-1/2” cards, 4 each of 3”x3” cards, 6 each gift tags, a notebook, pink pen and enough stamps for the full size cards.

I used all of the Fresh Freesia sheets and literally used every scrap for many of the card faces, and paired them with one of the Tea Boutique 6”x6” DSP sheets as it had such a sweet and subtle look and coordinated so nicely.

For this lovely wedding card, I used a size A2 Basic White Thick CS base with a 3-3/4”x5” layer of Splendid Day DSP glued down. I used the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D EF on a 2-3/4”x4-1/4” piece of Basic White CS. I stamped the bee in Fresh Freesia ink and popped the layer up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used a mix of Splendid Day DSP and Vellum CS with the Cottage Flowers dies and the Splendid Stems dies for the foliage and the Fabulous Frames dies for the sentiment after stamping it in Fresh Freesia ink. For the embellishment, I used the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.

Today Is A Day

For this beautiful card, I again used a mix of Splendid Day DSP and Vellum CS with the Cottage Flowers dies and the Splendid Stems dies for the foliage and the Stylish Shapes dies for the sentiment, stamped in Fresh Freesia ink. I used the Basic White Thick CS A2 card base with a 4”x5-1/4” of the Splendid Day DSP, cut at 1-1/2” and one side turned over and glued down. For the 2-3/4”x 4-1/4” layer of Basic White, I used the Painted Posies 3D EF and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the embellishment, I used the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.

Let’s Celebrate

This sweet little card again uses the Basic White Thick CS A2 card base with a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” layer of Basic White CS embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D folder and glued down. I popped up a 3-1/4”x4-1/8” piece of the Tea Boutique 6”x6” DSP and layered pieces of Basic White and Splendid Day DSP with the Splendid Stems dies. The sentiment was stamped in Fresh Freesia ink, cut with Essential Tag die and popped up with Stampin Dimensionals. I used the 3/8” Open Weave Ribbon in Fresh Freesia for the tag and the 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds for the embellishment.
