Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder

l just love the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder and it’s cheerful little trees.

It seems to encompass the feeling of Christmas and all that brings to mind? Paired with the festive greetings, you hardly need anything else!

All Is Merry & Bright

This CAS (Clean and Simple) card is one of my favorites I felt it needed very little as I wanted to feature the embossed design. Using a 4-1/8”x5-3/8” Whisper White CS layer over a 4-1/4”x5-1/2” layer of Cherry Cobbler CS over a Basic White Thick CS base (A2 size). I then added Festive Pearls in silver, Simply elegant Trim in Silver and the greeting in Cherry Cobbler ink over Silver Foil layer using the Brightest Glow Bundle.

Tidings of Comfort and Joy

For this sweet card, I used Soft Succulent Ink on the inside edge of the embossing folder and embossing a 3-1/2”x-4-3/4” layer of Basic White CS. It really shows the sweet details of all the festive Christmas trees. I glued this layer to a piece of Evening Evergreen Glimmer Specialty Paper layer at 3-3/4x5”. These two are popped up on a 4”x5-1/2” layer of gold Brushed Metallic CS, glued to an A2 card base in Basic White Thick CS.

I stamped the sentiment from Peace & Hope stamp set with Evening Evergreen ink on Basic White CS, cut using the Lasting Label Punch then glued onto a layer of the gold Brushed Metallic CS and fussy cut 1/8” from the edge of the label. I then added Soft Succulent and gold Festive Pearls.
