Thinking of you fall card

Crumb Cake Blends

Old Olive Classic Stamp Pad

Cherry Cobbler Classic Stamp Pad

Very Vanilla Thick CS – 8-1/2”x5-1/2” (card base scored at 4-1/4)

Very Vanilla CS - 4”x5-1/4” (card front), 2-1/4”x2-3/4” (sentiment) & die cut twigs

Medium Envelope in Very Vanilla

Crumb Cake CS – 4-1/8”x5-3/8” (layer) & wood ring die cut & embossed

Linen Thread

Brushed Metallic Dots (in bronze)

I CASE’d (copy and share everything) from Katie Drew Cards, and added a little Angela to it. It is such a beautiful yet simple card, I could not help but admire and want to use it as my inspiration.

Fold card base and braise with bone folder, then glue Crumb Cake CS layer to card base. Emboss Very Vanilla CS layer with Tree Rings Embossing Folder, the pop up on card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Take a scrap of Crumb Cake CS and use the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder & Die to cut out the tree ring of your choice.

Using Soft Suede ink, stamp sentiment, then die cut with ring die that matches the size of the tree ring you used. Glue Very Vanilla sentiment to Crumb Cake tree ring. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Take die cut twigs and color with blends, then add to left lower corner of tree ring with Glue Dots. Make a triple bow with the Linen Thread and adhere with either Glue Dots or glue. Stamp envelope with berries in Cherry Cobbler ink and leaf sprig in Mossy Meadow ink. Add Brushed Metallic Dots to card front.

Love & Warmth fall card

This sweet card was another CASE’d card, but from Mary Fish (Stampin Pretty). Of course I changed a little, but again loved how simple yet elegant the card is. Mary used a stamped leaf cluster and a bakers twin bow, but I wanted to use the Brushed Metallic 12”x12” Cardstock for the twigs and acorns. The best thing about that is that it is FREE (with a $50 order) right now during Sale-a-bration until August 31 (so don’t miss out, but use #163103 to add as your Sale-a-bration free item).

Items Needed:

Versamark Ink Pad #102283

White Embossing Powder #155554

Heat Tool #129053

Mossy Meadow Blends #154890

SU200 Natural Tones Blend #159461

Leaf Fall 3D EF #159847

Basic White Thick CS - 8-1/2”x5-1/2” (card base scored at 4-1/4)

Medium

Medium Basic White Envelope

Soft Suede CS – 4-1/4”x5-1/2” (card front layer), 4-1/8”x1-1/4”

Crumb Cake CS – 4-1/8”x5-3/8” (card front)

Rings of Love DSP – 4-1/8”x1-3/4” (card front layer) & 6”x2-1/4” (envelope flap)

Brushed Metallic CS #163103 (gold, copper & bronze)

Brushed Metallic Dots (in gold & colored with Mossy Meadow dark blend)

Fold and braise your card base at the score line and glue Soft Suede CS layer to card front. Emboss Crumb Cake CS layer with Leaf Fall 3D EF and then glue the DSP strip about 1” from the bottom of the embossed card front. With the Versamark pad and White Embossing Powder, add sentiment to right side of Soft Suede CS strip, then glue it centered on the DSP strip. Add card front to card base by popping it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Die cut the 3 different twigs using the gold Brushed Metallic CS. Color the twig area with the SU200 Blend and the leaves and Gold Brushed Metallic Dots with Mossy Meadow Dark blend. Die cut out the acorn tops with the bronze Brushed Metallic CS and the acorn body with the copper (I did not color the acorn top or body). Then pop up twigs and acorns with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add Brushed Metallic Dots as desired.
