Scrapbooking He’s The Man DSP and Tree Lot Dies

My husband and I are dreaming about Airstreams…

and of traveling the country once we retire, but in the interim, we rent them.

I had so much fun going down memory lane scrapping a fun 2019/2020 New Years Eve camping trip we had before the big “C” at a local camp ground. I’ve been saving the He’s The Man DSP specifically for this spread as it has the cute Airstream campers! Of course I had to add the sweet little camper from Tree Lot dies (SOLD OUT) in Silver Foil Specialty Paper to make an Airstream!! #wildvioletsart #stampinup #hesthemandsp #treelotdies #scrapbooklayout #scrappingmemories #airstream #airstreammemories

I typically scrap 12”x12” as I feel like I am able to add more pictures and elements to my scrapbook page, but make something that can be framed as well.

I started with 2-12”x12’ Basic White CS sheets, I used 1-Vellum 12”x12” Layering Designs with the map, tore it in half, then tore off the bottom and top edges so it added a nearly 6”x12” swath in the middle of both sheets. I used the Stampin’ Seal+ to adhere it to the Basic White CS.

I then used 1-He’s The Man 12”x12” SDSP with the weave print in Sahara Sand, tearing a 4” to 5”x12” section (with both top & bottom edge torn) to go over the vellum.

I then added a 3-1/2”x12” torn layer of the He’s The Man DSP with the campers, trailers and trees (I love love love this paper)! It brings to mind all the fun things about camping or “glamping” as we did in the lovely Airstream trailer camper.

The He’s The Man Specialty DSP has these fabulous cut-out elements that can be added to a card or as in this case, a scrapbook page. Instead of framing each photo with cardstock, I used up some scraps to add elements to each of the photos, then laid them down at different angles.

Some of the elements are stapled to the photos or to each other, but mostly just glued down with the Stampin’ Seal+ or glue dots.

This scrapbook page went together quickly but gave me so much satisfaction as I am finally getting my husband’s and my special time together memorialized.

I hope this spread inspires you to start scrapbooking or find inspiration for a fun adventure spread.
